Preston Granbery has over 40 years’ experience representing business clients – from small start-ups to multi-billion dollar international corporations. His practice has focused on four major areas: commercial law; financing, primarily private transactions from angel rounds to private equity investments; mergers and acquisitions, including as lead counsel on over $2 billion worth of transactions; and intellectual property management.
Preston has served as in house counsel as well as as a member of Thacher Profitt and Wood, a Wall Street law firm. As the Chief Legal Officer of several organizations over the last 20 years, he has been a critical member of the executive team with a range of responsibilities beyond the legal role. This has given Preston a deep understanding of business issues and how the law can be used to support corporate strategies and advance business goals.
Preston concentrates his practice on guiding both experienced and newly formed corporations during fund raising, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation supervision, and licensing. He brings his well developed business perspective to enhance the value of his legal advice and support.
