Ken Ottesen offers patent preparation and prosecution expertise in the electrical, software, and mechanical arts, having prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in his 14 years of practice. He brings diverse experience in many areas including telecommunications, location estimation and tracking, signal processing, electronics, and control systems.
Previously, Ken worked at Bell Laboratories for more than 15 years in research and development. His wide range of roles included systems engineering and software/firmware development. While at Bell Labs, Ken designed underwater signal processing equipment for the Navy and telecommunications equipment for wireless service providers in customer-facing capacities.
Jason DeMont has over 25 years of experience in patent law and specializes in patent preparation and prosecution. Jason is passionate about technology, invention, and helping clients transform inventions into valuable assets. Since 1991, Jason has personally written and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in the electrical, computer, and mathematical arts.
An avid inventor himself, Jason has licensed his inventions to Fortune 500 companies. He brings experience in a variety of areas including computer hardware and software, digital networking, analog and digital circuits, information theory, and mathematics.
